Suggested Activities:
1. Try pitching a tent. If you don’t have a tent at home, try making your own from a rope and blanket.
2. Learn about coconuts. You may even want to try some coconut milk or make a recipe that calls for coconut.
3. Learn about sugarcane. How is it used? How is it processed? Where in the world does it grow?
4. List all the animals in the second chapter. Learn about these animals and what geographic regions these animals would live in. Do they live in any of the same regions where you could find coconuts and sugar cane?
