Tea Leaf Playdough

This is the most interesting dough that I have run across, next to coffee grounds playdough. Its really frugal if you use the tea leaves left over from your iced tea bags. This dough is good for small pieces and beads that you want to have a stone-like appearance.

Ingredients:

4 T. flour
1 T. salt
1 T. water
about 2 T. used tea leaves

Directions:

1. Mix the flour, salt, and water in a bowl.

2. Then add as many of the tea leaves as the dough will hold without getting crumbly and falling apart.

3. Knead the mixture into a smooth, firm ball of dough.

4. Use as you would other clays and allow to air dry.

Variation: use crumbled, dried flower petals in place of the used tea leaves.

Other clays and playdoughs that you may be interested in are:

frosting clay
marzipan clay
cheese clay
granola clay
tissue paper bead clay
sand clay
chocolate fudge clay
edible spice playdough
colored playdough
oat playdough
peppermint playdough
