Easy Strawberry-Orange Marmalade
Here's a unique gift idea for the kids to make. Its easy and delicious. One batch will make five cups of marmalade so there will be enough for several gifts. Let the kids make special tags and gifts bags and you are all set.

Ingredients:
2 packages (10 oz. Each) sweetened frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
1 jar (12 oz.) orange marmalad
2 T. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 pkg. (1 ¾ oz.) powdered fruit pectin (e.g., Sure-Jell)
1 cup sugar
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan, combine strawberries with juice, marmalade, lemon juice, and pectin over medium-high heat. Bring to a rolling boil. Add sugar. Stirring constantly, bring to a rolling boil again and boil for one minute. Remove the pan from heat and skim off any foam that has formed. Spoon marmalade into heat-resistant jars; cover and cool to room temperature. Store in the refrigerator.
Yield: about five cups of marmalade
