Here are some discussion questions for the Sumerian Epic Gilgamesh.

First, read the Sumerican legend, The Epic of Gilgamesh, specifically the portion about Gilgamesh and Enkidu the wildman.

Why did Gilgamesh choose Harim to bring the wild man into the city?

Do you think this was a wise decision?

How was the real Enkidu different from the way he appeared?

If you were Harim, would you have been afraid?

Do you think Enkidu made the right decision to leave the forest?

Do other myths have plots of a girl taming a savage beasts? What are they?

Are you sleepy, tired, or worn out most of the time?
