Here's another yummy variation on the buttered popcorn recipe. You could use this when studying Mexico as a treat for the kids. Or let them fix it themselves and have even more fun with it … plus do the clean up.
Ingredients:
3 T. Butter
1/2 T. dry taco-seasoning mix
1/2 T. dried chopped chives
2 quarts popped popcorn
salt to taste
Directions:
1. Melt butter over low heat.
2. Stir in taco-seasoning mix and chives.
3. Drizzle over popcorn and toss to coat if necessary.
4. Add salt to taste if desired.
Yield: 2 quarts.
