Game Time: Pass the Thankerchief

This is a fun game that even the smallest should be able to play.

Arrange the children in a circle. Have the children pass around a "thankerchief" (handkerchief) around as they recite this poem:

Thankerchief, thankerchief, around you go --
Where you'll stop, we don't know.
But when you do, someone must say,
What we are thankful for this day.

When they finish reciting the poem, the person holding the "thankerchief" must tell one thing they are thankful for.

That person steps out of the circle and the "thankerchief" begins to go around again while the poem is recited. This continues until everyone has had a turn.
