Sized Paper

Liquid inks applied to unsized paper will bleed out from where you put them. It makes your writing look blurry, and small printing may not even be legible at all. The paper must be prepared to accept the ink, but it is an easy process.

Supplies:

1 enveloped unflavored gelatin (such as “Knox”)
1 cup hot water
materials from Basic Recycled Paper


Directions:

1. Combine the gelatin and hot water in a small bowl.

2. Follow the directions for Basic Recycle Paper. However, add the gelatin mixture into the paper pulp before pouring it onto your screen.
