Fun Food: Chocolate Snake
This is so fun! Its another great idea from Marianne Dambra and goes perfect with a study of snakes and other creepy crawly things.
Ingredients:
1/2 C. Peanut butter
1/2 C. Dry milk
1/2 C. Honey
1 T. cocoa
1/2 t. vanilla
1/2 C. Chopped nuts
1/2 C. Raisins
2 T. coconut
Directions:
1. Combine peanut butter and dry milk until blended.
2. Stir in , one at a time, honey, cocoa, vanilla, nuts, raisins, and coconut.
3. Place mixture on wax paper and roll into a thick snake shape.
4. Wrap in wax paper and chill.
5. To serve, either have children pull off pieces, or cut into slices.
