Thanksgiving Maize

Thanksgiving Maize is a lot like a corn or cornbread pudding. Its simply delicious and a very easy dish for a child to try their hand at. Allow them to take it to a Thanksgiving meal and let the adults give them lots of reinforcement on a job deliciously well done.

Ingredients:

1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 can cream corn, drained
1 box (Jiffy brand or similar) cornmeal
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
1 stick margarine, melted


Directions:

1. Drain both cans of corn.

2. Melt (1) one stick or margarine.

3. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.

4. Bake in a greased 9 x 9-inch pan at 350 degrees for 1 (one) hour.
