Fun Food: Party Roll Fruitcake
Here is a fun addition to a home ec lesson. Lots of measuring and really simple. The result is delicious.
Ingredients:
1 can Eagle brand milk
1 (7 oz.) pkg. dates, pitted and chopped
1 (8 oz.) jar candied pineapple
1 (8 oz.) jar candied cherries
10 marshmallows, chopped or 1 c. miniatures
30 graham crackers, rolled
2 c. pecans, chopped
Directions:
1. Roll crackers; add fruit, nuts and marshmallows.
2. Mix thoroughly.
3. Pour Eagle brand milk over all.
4. Pack in loaf pan or roll in wax paper.
5. Chill in icebox overnight. Keep chilled.
