Fall Fun: Acorn Wreath

This makes a really cool craft that goes fantastic with a fall/autumn theme. Its also a great counting activity as you affix the acorns to the straw wreath.

Supplies:

Acorns
Wicker wreath
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Newspaper
Flowers or other decoration

Directions:

1. Spread the newspaper on a flat surface.

2. Lay your wreath down flat and heat up your glue gun.

3. Starting in the middle of the wreath, put glue on the bottom of the acorn.

4. Place the glued part of the acorn in the middle of the wreath and stand the acorn straight up.

5. Make 1 row in a straight line going all the way around the wreath.

6. Repeat the process from top to bottom with the wreath still laying flat until the whole front of the wreath is covered in acorns.

7. After the wreath is covered, and the glue has hardened so that the acorns won’t come off, decorate with flowers, bows, or ornaments.

8. The back of the wreath shouldn't have any acorns on it so when you lay it down it is flat. This is where you can put a hanger so that you can hang your wreath up.
