Fall Fun: Pumpkin Cooler

Yummy! Yummy! And the kids are sure to love this unusual twist of a milkshake. Let them put it all together and run the blender ... they love to push the buttons on the blender! And its healthy too!!

Ingredients:

1 scoop vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 T. cooked pumpkin, canned or fresh-grown
1/2 t. cinnamon, powdered

Directions:

Each child can mix the vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt with the cooked pumpkin, milk, and cinnamon in a glass with a long teaspoon until well blended and semi-liquid.

NOTE: I've also tried the suggestion of using mashed sweet potatoes (canned or baked) instead of the pumpkin, more of an adult taste, but it was good.
