Incorporating Cooking: Salabat (Philippines)
This recipe for Philippine Ginger Tea comes from Violeta Noriega's Philippine Recipes Made Easy. Try it on a cold, rainy night when you need something to warm your insides.
Ingredients:
2-3 inches of fresh ginger, crushed
2 tablespoons brown sugar
4-5 cups water
Directions:
Boil all ingredients together for 7 to 10 minutes. Serve hot. Recipe serves 5 or 6.
