Vietnamese Avocado Shake
This is a Vietnamese drink that would be an unusual addition to a study of either the Vietnam Conflict or of the geographics and culture of the region.
I've been told that the Vietnamese like these drinks extremely sweet. Adjust the sugar to your taste or not add extra sugar if using sweetened condensed milk. Also -- this is so thick you'll need a spoon and so rich you might decide to share it with a friend!
Ingredients:
1 medium avocado
1/4 cup condensed milk
1 - 2 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
1 cup ice
Directions:
Throw everything in a blender and process until consistency is smooth. Serves 1.
