Colored Playdough
Jazz up your homemade playdough by adding color. This is a very simple and inexpensive recipe. Make several different colors using a variety of food colorings.
Ingredients:
1 cup salt
2 cups flour
4 teaspooon cream of tartar
2 Tablespooons cooking oil
2 cups water
food coloring
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together in a non-stick saucepan.
2. Add food coloring.
3. Cook on medium heat for three to five minutes, stirring constantly until the mixture becomes thick.
4. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
5. Store in air tight container or Ziploc bag.
