Blackberry Ice Cream
In honor of July being National Ice Cream Month, today's flavor is "Blackberry Ice Cream". This is a very easy version.
Ingredients:
1 c. fresh blackberries
1 pint half-and-half
1 c. sugar
Directions:
1. Crush berries and add sugar to them.
2. Let berries stand with sugar for one hour.
3. Add the half-and-half, mix well.
4. Chill, crank, and freeze.
Yield: one quart.
