Peanut Butter Ice Cream

In honor of July being National Ice Cream Month, today’s flavor is “Peanut Butter Ice Cream". This is a fun and unusual tasting ice cream. You could even jazz it up a bit by adding chocolate chips or chocolate chunks!

Ingredients:

2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cups milk

Directions:

1. Whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.

2. Add the peanut butter and whisk until smooth.

3. Mix in the whipping cream and milk.

4. Transfer the mixture to the ice cream maker and process according to manufacturer’s instructions.

5. Jazz this flavor up by adding chocolate chips or chocolate chunks during the appropriate time, according to your ice cream maker’s directions.
