Honey Ice Cream Recipe
In honor of July being National Ice Cream Month, today’s flavor is “Honey Ice Cream.”
Ingredients:
1 cup cream
6 egg yolks
1/2 cup honey
2 cups milk
1˝ teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. Boil the milk in a saucepan, then lower heat to a simmer.
2. In a bowl, beat the egg yolks and the honey.
3. Add to simmering milk, stirring constantly and not allowing eggs to over-heat.
4. Remove from heat after ingredients thicken, and strain.
5. After the ingredients cool in bowl, add cream and vanilla.
6. Freeze and then eat … yummy!!
