Puppy Chow Snack
This is a strictly for the human puppies running around your house!! Great to go with a study of dogs, pets, veterinary medicine, etc. Lots of fun at parties too!
Yield: 10 cups
Ingredients
1/4 pound of butter or margarine
1 cup Peanut butter
1 pound box powdered sugar (aka Confectioner’s sugar)
1 large box Crispix cereal
12 ounce package of milk chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Melt margarine, peanut butter and chocolate chips in a microwave on
medium setting 2 minutes or longer until melted.
2. Stir to blend.
3. Place one large box of Crispix cereal in a large (very large) pan and pour chocolate mixture over top. Stir to coat.
4. Place 1 lb box of powdered sugar in a grocery bag. Put coated cereal in the bag and shake until powdered sugar is absorbed.
5. Open bag and let it cool.
6. Store in airtight containers or ziploc bags.
