Scratch 'n Sniff Watercolors

This is a simple way to help your child make their artwork even more fun and creative! And it is inexpensive and simple, which is always a plus.

This is safe for even your youngest budding artist.

INGREDIENTS:

1 Tablespoon powdered unsweetened drink mix
1 Tablespoon warm water
several small containers

DIRECTIONS:

1. Mix the water and unsweetened drink mix together in a small bowl. (I use the off-brand or store-brand kool-aide type mixes. I can usually get them for about 10 for one dollar or even less expensive.)

2. Pour well blended mixture, now "paint," into your container. (Muffin tins or film canisters work well.)

3. Repeat this with each "color" you are making, pouring them into separate containers.

Paint with ordinary paint brushes, cleaning the brush between colors. Allow artwork to dry overnight before scratching and sniffing.
