Crafty Fun: Glitter Gel
This is a real fun activity to use with costumes, face paint, etc. Its skin safe and uses aloe vera, but please test a small section for any possible allergies.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup aloe vera gel
1 teaspoon glycerin
1/4 teaspoon fine polyester glitter
Food coloring -- optional
Directions:
Combine the aloe vera gel and glycerin in a small bowl. Stir in the glitter. Add a few drops of food coloring if desired. Spoon mixture into a small container. Experiment with different kinds of glitter.
Safe to use on skin and hair but test a small area for possible allergies first. Avoid using near the eyes.
