Fun Food: Painted Toast

Here's a fun snack or part of your breakfast. This activity is very versatile, and can go with almost any theme, holiday, etc.

Ingredients:

sliced white bread
food coloring

Directions:

Place 4 drops of food coloring in small bowls (one for each color). Add 1 tablespoon of water to each color and mix well. Dip a cotton swab or new, clean paint brush in color and paint designs on the bread slices then put in toaster. Do not let the bread get too soggy. This also is fun on bagels because the color will soak through. Serve with butter or favorite topping.
