Celebrate Thanksgiving: Cornucopia Snacks
Here are a couple of variations on the same theme. The kids will love making these treats!
Mini Cornucopias
Make mini cornucopias using bugles and fruit shaped for a cool snack. The kids can create their own by adding some peanut butter or frosting inside the bugle and then adding a few pieces of the fruit-shaped cereal (e.g., "Trix"). They come out really cute and the kids love them.
A larger variation uses a ice cream cone:
Ice Cream Cone Cornucopia
Take the sugar cone and put little cookies, raisins, nut, M&M's, pretzels, jelly candies, chocolates, etc. inside the cone. Use icing to hold them in or to decorate the outside of the ice cream cone. Place the cone and its contents on a doily for a pretty effect; or, cover the opening of the cone with the doily ... to keep the contents in... and use a small ribbon to tie the doily closed.
