Celebrating Thanksgiving: Clip-On Turkeys
You can clip this cute little creations almost any where. My kids made several apiece and I would find them clipped in the most unlikely of places ... I even opened my kitchen cabinets to find them clipped to box lids and bags.
Project Supplies:
Construction paper
Pencil
Scissors
Yellow pipe cleaners
Glue
Wiggle eyes
Project Directions:
1. Make a turkey tail by tracing a child's hand, four fingers, no thumb (any color paper - we made all different colors).
2. Then design a body shape to glue over top of this.
3. Glue wiggle eyes, a wattle; attach colorful feathers on top of the 'fingers' on turkeys' backs; legs out of yellow pipe cleaners (tape those on the back, glue won't hold them on unless you use something like a glue gun or very, very thick craft glue).
4. When finished, glue a wooden clothespin crosswise on the back.
